High-performance Caliber work gloves are constructed of machine-knit, high-strength yarns that deliver increased levels of dexterity while providing abrasion and cut resistance. The high-performance polyethylene (HPPE) shell has a tensile strength 15x stronger than steel on an equal weight basis. Tests have shown that gloves made with HPPE fibers have up to 20x the abrasion resistance of gloves made with spun Aramid yarns. The polyurethane palm coating provides enhanced gripping power.
